Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Cheap Lamps Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your lighting purchase. If you’re not happy with your desk lamp, floor lamp, or any other lighting product, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of receiving your order.

Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on reading lamps that show signs of personal use (such as fingerprints or residue on handles). All returned items must be in original condition with packaging and tags intact.

Our Return Policy

  • Return Window: 15 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Unused, in original packaging with all tags
  • Return Shipping: Customer pays return shipping unless item is defective
  • Refund Method: Original payment method

How to Return or Exchange an Item

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the subject line “Return Request” and include:
    • Your order number
    • Product name and reason for return
    • Whether you want a refund or exchange
  2. Wait for Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA number.
  3. Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all accessories.
  4. Ship It Back: Send the package to our warehouse at:

  5. Processing: Once received, we’ll inspect the item and process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.

Return Request Template

Use this template when emailing your return request:

Refund Information

Once your return is approved and processed:

  • Timing: Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear in your account after we process them
  • Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Exchange Information

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive and inspect your return
  • Standard shipping rates apply unless the exchange is due to our error
  • If the new item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
  • If the new item costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Reading lamps showing signs of personal use (fingerprints, residue, etc.)
  • Custom or special order items
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper installation

Damaged or Defective Items

If your lamp arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage
  2. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost
  3. In some cases, we may ask you to return the damaged item
